2014 JKUR Build
Bought my JK back at the end of the summer. Second Jeep. Had a CJ-5 back when I was in high school/college. I'm an avid bird hunter so I knew I would be spending too much money on my dogs(German Shorthaired Pointers) and hunting to do anything to the Jeep until the spring. Well, spring is here. Live in the PNW. Jeep is daily driver. Off Road will be weekend trails and hunting rig in the winter. Here is what I have currently planned. Pulling the trigger on everything next week or so. Would like any suggestions/comments. Will be buying most if not all from Northridge as they are close to where I live. Have spent my whole life working on rigs and have a full shop with a lift and tools so install will all be my buddies and I.
2014 JKUR
6 Speed
4.10's
Plan (Please let me know if something seems goofy)
2.5" RK Max Travel Lift Kit from Northridge
35x12.50x17 Nitto Trail Grappler MT
17x9 Rugged Ridge XHD Rims (Not 100% on this but really like the look)
Warn Zeon 10-S (Already bought, found a good deal on a slight used)
Teraflex Spare Tire Carrier
Superchips Flashpaq
AFE Intake/High Tuck Exhaust
Where I am still thinking
Bumpers - I like a mid style. Has to be able to hold the Warn Zeon obviously. I don't like the forward leaning bars on a lot of the bumpers. Do want to be able to run fog lights. Would like a light but tough solution. Money is not the main driver but certainly don't mind spending less if I don't need to. Sort of thinking for the rear bumper just follow what I do in the front as far as manufacturer.
Seat Covers - I haul the dogs with me all the time. What has held up the best? Easiest to vacuum fine hair out of?
Mesh Top - Would like a summer top that lets me take the whole hard top off but still keep the dogs from being able to jump out?
Any other must haves?
