i already have the trektop safari top and i'm not 100% thrilled with it in the wet weather. (t's for the 2011 so it uses the guide wires ). even when i have the door surrounds in, rain water will pool up on the top and i inevitably end up getting a bath when i make a turn. (i'm not talking about a dribble here and there like the stock soft top, i'm taking about go back home and change because it looks like i pissed my pants)

i'm thinking about upgrading to the treetop NX( i ripped my soft top in the garage at work).

how much more water tight is the NX vs the traditional trektop safari?

do i need to run the back and sides to keep the top tight and keep water out? i really like to ride bareback.

i don't wanna spend 700 bucks on something and still have the "piss my pants" look.
