Welcome to the site.
Sounds like your getting off to a good start. You know it does not end there right? It never ends....
Post up photos as you progress.

I have limited exposure to Teraflex because I'm new to Jeeps and only have theirs leveling kit on my JKUR but for that price would a Metalcloak system be better, worse or just indifferent?

I really couldn't say as this is my first build. I am sure there are those out there with much more informed opinions. For me I researched probably 10 different companies and just feel most comfortable going with teraflex. I will post more once the build is complete about the outcome and performance.

It really does never end. I have Metalcloak's 2.5 in kit and I love it. You can't go wrong with Terraflex though, either. The Metalcloak is just a little more expensive. If you're running stock drive shafts you're probably going to need exhaust spacers. I didn't do that and the rubber boot on the drive shaft above the crossover pipe melted.

Yeah, through some conversation I've been having I am leaning on throwing a front drive shaft into the build. I have seen plenty of post of people who have gone thousands of miles on and off road with no issue, But also a lot whose drive shaft didn't last a week. I don't feel like being in that camp. I'm a do it once do it right kind of guy. I know the inevitable tinkering and upgrades will follow, but at least out the gate i want the build to be as complete and solid as possible. Thanks for the input.

Going to be a great build. You did leave off driveshaft from the list though.

I don't see a winch listed, you should always have a good winch to use for yourself or to help others. It usually turns into that "need it, don't have it or have it, don't need it" categories. I grew up wheeling and having the "not having and needing it" happen a lot, so I have front and rear winches now...
