Default Warn wireless receiver.

I have a 2008 JK. I mounted it on the left driver compartment wall by the clutch petal. High enough should I get into deep water but not too high to service. I extended the wires and ran them thru the foam under the winshield on the drivers side. Works great. Good luck

Be aware of parasitic drain on your battery if left plugged in for extended periods of time. I just plug mine in when leaving the pavement and remove when back on solid ground.

No, I only plug it in when I go to use my winch. The heat under my hood is pretty high when wheeling. It melted the pressure gauge for my Kilby on board air system after my first trip. I would be cautious of mounting the wireless receiver under the hood. My block for the relief valve, pressure switch and gauge were mounted just to the rear of where you mounted your receiver so I am pretty confident there will be a lot of heat in that area. Does your hood have vents or is it stock?

It's a shock hood. I'll keep my eye on it.
