Default 5 x 5 Hubs of a M 1102 trailer

Need some help, just got a m 1102 military trailer that has 37x12.50R16.5LT tires on 12 lug outer split rims with 8 lug H1 or H2 wheel to hub lug pattern. I am running 35 x 17 - 5x5 lug to hub and would like to convert the trailer to the same. Do they make a hub to do this , an adapter or do I need to machine the existing hubs. Of course a new hub would be my first choice but I don't know where to start.Click image for larger version

I was in a similar situation when I was building an M101A2. I wanted to run the same wheels on both the JKU and the M101 so I could get by with having to carry only one spare. They do not make a five lug hub to fit the spindles on that axle. The bearings used for that spindle are too large to accommodate a five lug hub. I ended up building a new 3500# axle using the 5x5 trailer hubs and then having a set of spacers made to accommodate the lug pattern and hub centric jeep wheels. If you decide to go the same route, I could probably find the info on the company that made the spacers.

I went the opposite direction. I run 12 bolt HMMVW wheels and 37" Baja T/A's on the Jeep and my 1102. Used BORA 2 piece billet adapters.
