some where i saw a tire carrier that will hold 35's it was a beefier hinged thing similar to terrflex but it was about 170, anyone know where this is?

Probably that or the same thing with the bestop brand on it.

I'm not convinced they are better than stock. All it does is limit movement, which is something you can do for about $20.

I don't know what year JK you have, but I'm certain they beefed up the tailgate in the newer models.

 

Crawler Concepts ? I think they just released one.
I have the Teraflex one and love it. It takes all of the weight off the tailgate and places it on the tub.
