New JKU owner need help
I am the new owner of a 08 Sahara got the jeep in good condition with low miles 70k (IMO). It was originally a "big country " and from what I can tell that was just a dealer installed lift and wheels..
I have addressed the main maintenance that I've been able to find on this and other forums the
Quick list .
Plugs wires ,Throttle body removed and cleaned,Swapped all fluids to syn,Thermostat and gaskets,Serpentine belt.
Issues I can find answers for The pin in door hinge spins not allowing me to remove door.
I tried all remedying I could find and ended up removing the hinge from the jeep. Works to get door off but still can't get the hinge off the pin...any help would be great!
I have attempted twice to pasti dip the chrome wheels.
Degreased and cleaned first , it peels after a day or two... Removed and cleaned with cleaner and a acetone rag ... Still peels off ... Anyone else run into this problem? I don't like the chrome but also don't want to sand them up just to pasti dip....
Any help would be great thanks !

Since you already pulled the hinges off the jeep, ( i'm guessing off the body) remove them from the doors, and then soak them in a tub of (insert your favorite solvent here) and let sit. Doors that have never been off take a bit because the pins are sitting in the inserts and have rusted in. Aftermarket makes nylon inserts, I just lubed the hell out of mine and now they come off easy. You might have a hard time to re-align the hinges back on the body once you have everything loosened. Worst case scenario remove all hinges and buy new ones and bolt them on.
Totally plan on installing the Derlin bushings .. They seem to have the best reviews !
I was worried about the door lining up but it was fairly easy to get the hinges on so they close and seal correctly ,
