Default Show me flag pole mounts

I'm searching for several strong examples of flag pole mounts. I just came back from NJ Jeep Invasion and really loved all of the different ways everyone had mounted their flags. I'd love to get several examples and pics. I'm current tie wrapping mine to my fire stick antenna, but would rather have a more solid option. My rear bumper is a LOD shorty tailgate.

So, show me your setup. I'd like to fly one for July 4th!!!

I use a Tusk quick release mounted to my tire carrier. It has a rubber chair leg thing on top to keep the rain and dust out.

That's cool, I haven't seen that yet. So, you can drop the pole in and tighten it up?

x2 for the Tusk. Its very easy to mount as you can cut holes into just about anything to mount, very simple. I got an L bracket from lower and just used my grinder to cut off part of it and mount like this. Holds flag poles that ATVs, UTVs, and Jeeps are required to have in off road parks and stuff. If you're looking for bigger options you can weld up tubes at a 45 degree angle to a hitch that you can remove whenever.

I've been searching for a flag whip mount and have been looking at the Tusk. The problem is that at the sand dunes where I'm going, they require a 10ft pole with an orange flag, mounted on the front bumper. They sell flags around the dunes, where the diameter of the whip is 1/2in and the Tusks that I've looked at, only hold up to a 1/4" diameter pole. Does Tusk or anyone else with a similar design make a mount that will hold a 1/2in dia pole?

Don't know, you'll just have to do a search.

Do they require a 10' pole or just that it has to be 10' off the ground? Curious, because around here, they require the flag be 8' off the ground.

Also, if you can't find a 1/2" mount. I have a gorilla whips LED whip and the mount they use measures .700" id. You could machine up a spacer to take up the .200 difference. Just a thought for last resort.

Most definitely look at the requirements. For us around here its 8' off of the ground, not from vehicle bumper. This way you can easily order a flag pole off of amazon for pretty cheap or find one local in the 1/4 and use the tusk.
