Default Rugged Ridge Headlight Bezel Removal

My RR headlight guards are a piece of crap. Installed for 2-3 and peeling/rusting. Anyway, was going to repaint but could not get them removed. Anyone have a trick for this?

I had the same issue on mine. I spread it with PB blast in hopes of breaking the rust. Then I used a flat head screw driver to pry them off. Ended up damaging one of the bezels and one of the lights doing this but I was replacing the lights anyway. Was a huge huge pain in the ass so I ended up putting stock ones back on. I guess these are more of things not to do. Good luck

Good to know. That was going to be my next step. I may end up taping the lights to paint the bezel.
