Default Loud clunk after installing evo lcg coilovers

I installed a set of front and rear lcg evo coilovers on my jeep and when hitting some bumps noticed a loud thud in the rear. Sat in my trunk while someone driver and determined it was something hitting the tub. Without hooking up a g pro to watch I'm pretty sure it's the upper reinforcement brackets. I'll post pics of how close mine are but was wondering if anyone has the same issue or not. I did buy the kit used so idk if it's possible that the may of gotten bent somehow but if anyone is running the same kit and can post how close there's is to compare it would be appreciated. Idk what other solution I have then either putting a piece of rubber between the cab and bracket or getting a body lift
which I was trying to keep my height at a minimum.

A lot of guys cut some rubber matting and put it in between that bracket and the tub:

If you're a 4 door you may also want to invest in some heavier springs in the rear as well... Pretty common combo is 275/325. Very little to no preload needed and supports the ass end better when loaded up.

I would do a 250/350 or a 200/400 to take advantage of the dual rate set up. You don't get much from a 275/325

I had the same problem. Extra weight and 45,000 miles caused my jeep to sit lower such that it had maybe 1.5" of lift. There was an inch between the bumpstop and extension, so I removed the extension to test the theory and the thump went away. Raised the jeep 1.5", changed the bumpstop, much much better now.

Which piece are you referring to as the extension?

I was experiencing a similar sound but my noise was the track bar bolt hitting the bump stop extension....The problem i came across was that i am using Rock Krawler control arms with the EVO kit, and the EVO bump stops. Once i grinded the Bump stop to make room for the track bar bolt i was also bottoming out a lot...i upgraded to the 275/325 and no longer bottom out....i do it a bit hi in the rear so i still need to get a set of lighter springs to test them...
