Default JK Steering Boxes '07 3.8 vs '12 3.6

I'm hoping to move my recently rebuilt 07 Steering box w. WTO Hydro from my 07 JKR to my "new to me" 2012 JKUR. I would then move my '12 steering box to the '07.
They look very similar, any issues with this?

The JK and JKU have steering boxes of different ratios. I don't know about compatibility between the '07 and the '12.

I just switched mine from my old 07 to my new 18(JK). I called WTO and they said it would work, and it does. I had went with a PSC pump on the 07 and they said the new pumps were better than 07-10 and that I would not need to upgrade the pump. So far (about 500 miles, nothing offroad yet though) the setup seems fine. I'm running the 07 steering gear (tapped by WTO), WTO ram, and everything else stock. I'm probably going to add a cooler this winter when I have more time. And yes, when I put the brand new 18 steering gear in the 07 everything worked just like it should. I sold that Jeep.
