Default JK Axle Part / Locker Identification?

Howdy,

These JK axles, Dana 30 and 44, have 4.88 gears and some kind of lockers.. But i'm trying to figure out what kind. I was told they are "Mechanical" lockers, but that's about it.

Are the tubes in photos 1 and 2 axle vents? or are these the air locker / electric locker connectors?

Thanks in advance!

dana 44 rear, tube next to red strap

dana 30 front, tube under upper control arm bracket

No pictures of internals so hard to identify lockers, but by saying they are "mechanical" I would say they are not "selectable" lockers a la electrical nor air lockers. I'd guess up front in D30 it's a simple lunchbox locker. If these are alxes you are looking to purchase, I'd not only make the buyer tell you exactly what is inside (brand of gears and lockers), but I'd want to see pictures/videos of the gears to see what they look like. If they are going to be shipped, they'd have to be drained of oil anyhow, so breaking open the cover is no big deal at all.

for the record those look beat on pretty hard. look at the swaybar link bracket and also looks like leaking from the pumpkin/axle tube connection...
