Default Spare Tire Cover (that doesn't cover wheel)??

looking for suggestion for a spare tire cover (stock tire/wheel)...
Im looking for recommendations (I cant seem to find what im looking for) - I'd like one of two...
  • A spare tire cover that can be cinched tight OR...
  • A spare tire cover that doesn't cover the wheel (just covers the tread)

You should be able to make any of them cinch tightly by replacing the elastic on the outside with regular rope/ paracord. I've got a friend with one (probably smittybilt) and it cinches up nicely. As far as covering just the tread- also a decent idea but recall that the sidewall of the tire needs UV protection as well.

I understand, in fact the sidewall is the primary concern when it comes to UV exposure.
I rotate the tires regularly. and I would want a tire cover that covers the side wall as well but exposes the wheel (so I can use a 3rd break light in the wheel).

something like a tire warmer - is what we need - they cover the entire "rubber" but don't necessarily cover the wheel.

I actually have mine set up the same way but haven't gone any further with covering the tire. I'd look at some JL tire covers with their rearview camera hole and see if something like that could work or if you could adapt it to work. Do you have the ring one that is inside the whole wheel? I ask because I just relocated the stock light inside of the tire.

Found this https://www.quadratec.com/products/91173_1201.htm but it's 33-35 in tires, but I think Rampage offers smaller sizes. Check them out online and see.
