Maintenance when missing service history?
Purchased 2013JK with 70k miles in private sale quite far from my home. Came with new oil change but incomplete service history. Now at 74k miles and it’s running great. Called local Jeep dealer to ask about service at 75k. He suggested because service history was incomplete they do the kitchen sink: oil change, transfer case fluid, auto transmission fluid and filter, brake fluid, tire rotation, front and rear axle fluid, engine air cleaner filter and engine coolant. All for the bargain price of $990!! Question: what service should be done at 75k if I have an incomplete service history on this vehicle? The manual can't answer that question!
I agree, all are easy to do, you’ll know what was done and it’s a lot cheaper doing it yourself.
even if you do t do it all at once, I would go through the process of getting it all done even over a month or so if you want to spread it out and don’t want to do it all at once

I'd go so far as to say don't just drain and refill the gear oil in the diffs, go ahead and remove the cover and take a good look around at the condition of things. When re-installing the covers, Lube Lockers are a nice alternative to RTV so you don't have to scrape things in the future.
I'd look at condition of fluids and go from there. If the oil is decent then let it be, change it in 3k miles then move to a good quality oil. Diffs are unlikely to have been serviced, it's just not something people think about. Transfer case is going to be where your perception of the vehicle will dictate- if it's been a highway toy- let it be. I think the factory calls for 100k fluid changes on the transfer case unless it's been heavily off-road or used as a fleet vehicle. I can tell you that you're likely just fine. I changed mine at 120k (only owner) and there was no indication of better performance afterwards. That reminds me, I'm at 230k now, maybe it should be changed again. Brake fluid is one that people overlook and write it off. That's one I'd suggest you do. I swapped fluid in mine after having left the cap off and there's a noticeable difference in the pedal.
The one piece of advice I will give you before you attempt any of it- check to see that you can get all of your fill plugs out and back in before removing drain plugs. After you've drained all of the fluid from the lowest point in the housing isn't the time to find out that you needed some other tool to access the fill plug.

I concur. We're systematically going through everything. Some will be done by a shop, most of the rest done by us. Going over the vehicle carefully has been allowing us to find things that need attention. We just replaced the driver's side exhaust manifold today. It goes in for springs and shocks on Friday. $250 to do all four corners is cheap, compared to the time we would need to do it ourselves. I'll have the ATF done because I'd rather someone else do it than mess with it myself, and will let them do the T-case at the same time. We did the oil, doing plugs (got too dark to do the passenger side, so will finish those tomorrow), need to look at brakes. We have the tools to do a brake system flush and will tackle that ourselves. Cooling system was done by default when we replaced the radiator that had a cold leak (end cap seal). We've upgraded all the outside lighting to LED. We will do both diffs ourselves. There are some outstanding recalls the stealership will get to address as well. We're hoping to wrap up the worst of this in the next couple of weeks so we can turn our attention to the next hooptie in our queue.
