Default Crunching on Articulation

2013 2-Door Rubicon-Just had a complete 2-1/2" Rock Krawler lift installed. During Jeeptoberfest while riding the Modified trail with electronic sway bar disconnected. there developed a very pronounced crunching noise in front while running over obstacles. Reconnected the sway bar and noise seems to have gone away. Previously with sway bar disconnected on stock suspension had no issues. Is it possible that the increased articulation was too much for the electronic sway bar and I damaged it internally? Any suggestions as to whether the noise was related to some other suspension component?

What size tires? Rim backspacing? Did you add bumpstop? It could be as simple as the tires contacting the fenders. The sway bar is fine with the articulation.

Check to see if the sway bar is rubbing on the tubes that prodtude thru the frame. With the extra articulation the axle shift is more pronounced. The disconnect should be fine as it will spin 360 if it had nothing to stop it while disconnected.

Assuming you did not add bumpstop extensions, those tires will definitely hit the fenders when flexing. Likely need 2" of Bumpstop or flat fenders.
