Default What's going on with the DIY hemi swap venders?

I'm finally getting around to doing a 5.7L hemi and 545rfe trany swap in my jeep.
From what I've gathered so far Jeep Speed Shop is the only vender left that still sells the individual components like engine and trany mounts. Everyone else only wants to sell you their "kit" for about 5 or more grand. I don't want a kit.
Today I tried to order from JSS and their site would not allow me to checkout, looks like their checkout has been disabled. Also, I've been calling them daily for a week and there is no answer ever.
What is going on?

Go on google and locate the neighbour business. Phone them, tell them you are unable to contact and ask if they have seen them. Usually one gets the truth from them

I will do that tomorrow, Monday. I've also sent an email to Chris @ hotwireauto. See if he can hook me up, or help in some way with the mounts issue. He has never let me down. Imagine the owner of the business taking time to answer every question personally!
If all this fall through, then it's gonna be done the old fashion way with universal mounts and fabrication when necessary.
Thanks.

Also AEV is no longer selling their kits.
Is there someone else that fabricates and sells brackets for the JK?
The usual ones like Novak and advanced adapters do not. Lots of vendors have the hemi swap mounts for the TJ. I may go that route also, get one for a TJ and modify it to work, if I can. I also have a TJ so I'm going to do some measurements on both.
thanks

Well, all is right with the Jeep world again. Got a hold of Todd at JSS and ordered my parts. All bolt-in hemi conversion engine and transmission mounts!
Pretty impressive stuff, when you think about it. Zero grinding, cutting or welding to put in a Hemi truck engine and transmission in your Jeep JK.
Looks like he's been having issues with his web site. He said they are a week or two away from getting their new site up and running.

Great news. You will really like that V8 in there. Take it from a V8 conversion guy now with 355HP on tap.
