JK Show & TellWhether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.
Now that summer is in full swing, the tops off the wife’s JKU, so it raises the “what about my stuff in the back” questions. Commercially available options cut far to deep into the fun time budget, but a trip to Lowe’s and some opposable thumb chimping with saws and glue produced this gem! 19/32 plywood, covered in out door carpet (actually matched the interior) bolted down to the hardtop mounts with some hardware and D-Rings. Even recessed the edge enough that the softtop will go back on without removing the platform. I know a few guys on here did similar set ups, I just had to tip my hat to everyone’s ideas and inspirations. 46 bucks and it’ll even hold my big ass standing on it!
Congrats! Things don't have to be fancy and expensive to be functional and look good! A long time ago I made a rear "trunk" similar to ronjenx's rear storage (simple search) and it was one of the best things I ever did. I still have it 9 years later. Provides a nice secure storage for my tools, and flips to the front to provide a flat surface in back too. Glad you were able to produce something functional for yourself. Share some pics!
