Default From 3" spacer lift to lift coils

Hi...I'm new to this site but I would like some information on a suspension upgrade for my 2017 JK 2-door. I am currently running a 3" spacer lift all around and would like to upgrade to a coil spring lift. I am still running the stock control arms with 35" tires so I would like a spring that would give me the same exact height as I have now. I know most springs will lift our Jeeps higher than they are rated for.

Has anyone replaced a 3" lift spacer for a coil spring with the same height so I can keep my stock control arms and won't need to buy an entire kit. Trying to save money. Thanks you for your help in advance.

as you know, obviously no exact science here. i'd go with a good 2.5" coil. As you also know, "saving money" and a jeep are things that don't go together. When it comes to suspensions, you can do it right, or you can do it over several times. I'd argue that your factory control arms are indeed holding the axles under the jeep, but if you don't have caster correction in the mix then those arms aren't doing a whole lot more. 3" is pretty aggressive for a 2dr wheelbase with factory components.

I would think your caster numbers are pretty washed out with non adjustable links in front right now.. A 2.5" spring (as Resharp points out) will at give back a degree or two in caster (always a good thing). 3" spring you should go with adjustable lower front links.
