Hey, guys, I’m in a bit of a predicament. I have a 2010 JK and had death wobble when I hit certain bumps at a certain speed. So, I went with a steinjager crossover kit. Got everything installed and took it for a test drive and now I have the death wobble even worse. The kit never came with instructions on how to install, so I just went off a picture I found off google. Any help would be appreciated!
Do you know how to test your ball joints with a shovel, cuz I will bet you dollars to donuts that is your issue. It is very rarely DL or TR related. Not impossible, but VERY rare to be one of those joints. 90%+ is track bar joints/bolts or ball joints. it looks like you have factory BJs still maybe (no grease zerk apparent).

Yeah I know how to check them just didn’t get a chance to yesterday. I went ahead and ordered some heavy duty ones to throw in anyways. I’ve had several YJs and TJs but am new to this JK stuff so bear with me lol.
Those crap ball joints will always be one of the biggest weaknesses in these D30/44 front axles. Add bigger tires and they give up the ghost so fast. We have an issue with the track bar frame side bracket hole wallowing out a bit after some DW's. It might be worth removing that frame side bolt and just taking a good look to confirm that looks ok. Obviously make sure things are torqued down. Those TB bolts are so sensitive to being undertorqued even just a bit. I'll still put my money on ball joints though.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I would turf those HEIM joints on the steering rods and turf them yesterday. They wear so quick with road grime getting into them and in fact should be illegal for road vehicles. Not sure what tires you are running but son has 35" x 15" MT Mud Terrain and his friend who manages a tire shop said one tire is so bad with lateral (not out-of-round) movement that it can cause DW as everything in his Jeep is in perfect condition front suspension wise. He just put a sector shaft brace and upper TB end support system on and feels a bit more solidity and has not had DW since. But could be your tires or what Resharp suggested. IMO and experience as soon as offset is changed and wheels moved out on the front then you expose yourself to easier DW incidents happening. Why I use 34" 285/75 tires on stock backspacing rims with no DW on a 140K miles 2008 Jeep with slightly worn, within spec BJs. If you have a friend around with a Jeep on stock tires try and do a swap for couple hours and see if there is a difference.
