Default Lower Cargo Rack for JK Unltd?

I really like this Bestop tray system, but it doesn't fit the JK Unltd.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/12034_214.htm

(Quadratec's web site says this does fit the 4 door, but reps at Q-tec and Bestop both say it doesn't.)

Anyone seen anything similar, besides the Bestop trunks? I like the idea of strapping things to the shelf when we pack for trips, then removing the whole thing for day trips. (Plus I already have a tray!)

That is way neat. Would be slick floating above my flexatrunk... sure it doesn't fit? :(

Default 4wd and Sport Utility

4wd and Sport Utility did a write-up on it.

I'm still trying to decide if it sits to high... I wonder if it can be adjusted lower.

They didn't say much, but it certainly shows the rack installed in a 4door. I may just try it. I can always sell it if it doesn't fit.

Thanks for the link...

Well, I tried it. First I emailed 4wdandsportutility asking them how they got it to work. No answer, so I took a chance.
I think it can be made to work if you're willing to use power tools and buy a few extra bolts. Basically, you need to swap the 2 cross bars and drill a few holes in different places. I'm guessing 4wdandsportutility didn't answer me because they're too embarrassed to admit that theirs wasn't installed completely - it's probably just hanging in place w/out the proper brackets.
So I had it hanging loosely in place for about a week, and I like the location and was getting psyched to find time to finish the install. Then I tried to lower the softtop. No dice. The softtop bars won't clear the shelf.
If anyone wants details of how I think it can be made to work, let me know.

This link is for the Wrap-around windjammer, but check out his "Wal-Mart" rack.
