Default 35's with BB & 1" body lift

Has anyone done a BB & 1" body lift to fit 35's? If so, any concerns or issues? Let's hear your thoughts. Thanks

I changed my mind and did a 2.5" BB and Xenons to run 35s.

Now I have an unopened M.O.R.E. 1" BL sitting in my garage. I think Dave @ Northridge may let me send it back for a credit towards my next purchase. Or, I may sell it locally.

Running stock flares, the 2.5" BB and 1" BL would work well with 35s. Or, since you are in the Eastern US, shipping may not be much for you to buy a set of taller springs from Rusty's Offroad. I remember his springs and adjustable trackbars are very reasonably priced.

The issues with the BL are that with a 6 speed, you will need to trim a little metal at the bottom of the shifter opening, and the rear pinch seam will show unless you relocate the bumper up an inch. Other than that, no issues.
I have a BDS 2" BL coming next Tue, it has brackets to raise the rear bumper with the body, I'm cutting my shifter and welding in a 1" 1/2" rod spacer and heat/bending as needed to "hopefully" prevent having to cut up the inner boot or sheetmetal, been there done that on the 06 Rubi and never again I swore. I'll post some pics when I get her all together next weekend. Right now she's sitting really nice on 35's and 2.5" TF-BB, this should set her about where I want all said and done.

If you want the almost perfect set-up for DD and occasional off-road, 35'sBB and 1inBL are it. Worked great on the trails, and still rode almost like stock. I went to the 4in SL cause I ain't never satisfied and I wanna run 37's or 38's eventually. I don't really care how it rides as a DD, but it still rides pretty good with the SL. Here it is now.

I run a 2" Black Diamond BB and 1" M.O.R.E. BL with 35" KM2s. Check out my write up on how to eliminate the gap above the rear bumper when running a 1" BL.
