Default 37's & 1350 je reel Cardin Driveshafts...Alignment

Just curious........

What did people running the 1350 Cardin CV Driveshafts and 37's set their alignment angles at?

toe in or out?

castor .. IE- Pinion angles

and what is recommended if any?

I set mine up and I think it is pretty good but still a little flighty

I have 1 degree toe in and my pinion angles are 2 degrees less than direct on the driveshaft. ( -3 castor )

You shouldn't be setting your front axle castor in relation to your driveshaft angle unless having zero driveshaft vibrations is more important to you than steering/handling. Front castor is about 3.5-4.0 from factory, if my recollection is correct. With OEM CV driveshafts, 6 degrees of castor is preferred by most people running 37" large tires. It may be necessary to back that down to about 5 degrees as a compromise between steering/handling and driveshaft vibration. I only have the 1310 front shaft in mine, but front castor is set at 5 degrees. with 1/4" toe-in. There is a very slight vibration compared to the CV shaft and the steering is slightly wandering but, like I said earlier, it's a compromise between the two. Good luck.

I was mostly concerned about the front u-joint prematurely wearing with a greater angle.... but now I realize "pushing" the front end into the pavement crippled my handling.

anyone else with a lift and your angles?
