Default 5 cent window clip mod...IT WORKS!

So I put the soft-top back on today...then I remembered the window clip problem that I promised myself I would do something about last year. Checked with the dealer, and it turns out I already have the 'improved' part number, nevertheless, the driver's side refuses to stay in position.

So I took a long zip-tie, threaded it under the tub retainer, and over the clip. I cinched it down, trimmed it up...voila! No more worries about loosing the clip, its not coming off until I clip the tie! Did it to both sides.

Nice little mod. I hate those clips. Thanks for sharing.

It's bizarre that people are still having this problem. I got the improved clips last year and those things were tight getting on, but they don't budge and I've never had a problem since.
