Default Shaved Door Handles (4-door JK)

I'm trying to decide if I want to install a shaved door handle system for my 4-door (plus the tailgate). Does anyone have any opinions?

Right now I have the half-doors off and I was looking at them to see if I wanted the door handles shaved. It would definitely help when mudding - I don't have mudguards and the dirt/mud just hammer the door handles.

I would probably also have the body shop smooth out the mirror depression and just leave the hinges sticking out. I would install a custom black, square peep mirror on the windshield pillars (the "euro" mirror just doesn't cut it for me).

For that matter, what about getting rid of the footman's loop and the windshield bumpers on the hood?

What does everyone think??

I think you'd be taking away a lot of the stuff that makes a Jeep look like a jeep and not a Hummer etc.. Why would you care if mud / rocks hit the door handles they are plastic?

I guess to each his own, but to me the next steps in that project would be to lower it and install some sort of ground effects.

Just yankin your chain.

Don't forget the dingle-balls , side pipes and white walls to finish the look.
