Teraflex Rock Sliders
Just looking for a recent update on how everyone's Teraflex Rock Sliders are doing (those that have them). I found a few posts from a year ago, but just curious on recent thoughts. How are they holding up?
Just curious cause I just bought a pair from 4WD. I'll get them in a month.
Thanks.

I had this same topic 3 weeks ago. Got a PM from one owner saying he has really used them on rocks with nothing more than paint damage scrapes to the slider (as you would expect from any slider).
So, I ordered mine... expected date 6/13 from 4WD. I don't like the idea of drilling, but it fills my need for a step (kids) and should block road grime some.
Now if BayouJeeper gets his Poison Spiders in before they ship my TF's I may buy his Rubi Rails. not perfect, but for the price I can put my money elsewhere

Just got them from the UPS truck today.
FYI,
They way about 20lbs each.
They come with a wide rubber gasket that fits between them and the body to protect the paint; and the gasket has a lip to prevent grime from getting in.
My initial impression is they are probably not as strong as "hard core" guards like Shrockworks, but will work great for most people; the step is good for the kids; and the "solid" width step will help keep the road grime off the sides of the Jeep.
We don't have many rocks in Louisiana, so I'm more worried about logs. However, with the way they install, you could probably mount a frame rail mounted slider below.
