Default Teraflex wheel spacers vs. Spidertrax-specs

I can see the physical specs from their respective websites, ie. thickness, material used, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the studs are pressed into each type differently? Are they pressed in from the back (hub) side? There are no photos I can find of the back of either brand wheel spacer...also, any advantage/disadvantage to steel vs. anodized aluminum?

Thanks,

glwood
