Default Surge Protection Chips on ebay, 5-10mpg / 35hp?

Anyone seen these chips yet? Supposed claims of 5-10mpg increase with one and 35hp with the other, all for less than $8.00. I know this screams BS right away but they have 98% feedback on over 3000 transactions which is not easy to do and a money back guarantee.

Hmmm....

Have you ever heard of the placebo effect? If you think you are going faster, then you are going faster. If they were reputable, you could buy them in more places than eBay.

this is a classic eBay scam. they charge you $9 for a $1 resistor that can be found at any radio shack/electronics component seller. the resistor is tiny and will probably ship in a standard envelope with a 39 cent stamp. they charge you upwards of $7+ shipping. you'll likely NOT see any performance gain fuel/hp or otherwise. $16 for a resistor x3000 stooges + mean threats to leave ebay-status-destroying reciprocal bad feedbacks (they try to resolve possible negatives via email - normally a refund) = a nice $45k paycheck

for your sake, don't bite on this :/

I think that they're being a little modest with their claims... 5-10 mpg and 35hp gain? They're DEFINITELY being modest! What they don't tell you is that this chip allows you to run your vehicle entirely off of tap water - you'll never have to buy gasoline again. Also, the 35 hp gain is a bit misleading, because when you're running it in water-only mode, it literally flies... so there's no way to dyno the resultant horsepower gain, because it hovers over the road surface.

If you buy this, I'll offer you a REALLY special deal on a certain well-known bridge...

Oh no ya dont, i already OWN that!

and dont use Perrier. The bubbles make it backfire, and with all that hydrogen coming out of the exhaust, it isnt a good idea.

You'd be passing Mars before you realized you just roasted half your state.
