Default Did I totally screw up? Bumpers & Tire Carriers

I bought and installed the Smittybilt SRC rear bumper to match the SRC front. I had planned on getting a lift and 35" tires and rims, but I am worried that i made a mistake in not getting a rear tire carrier bumper. Thoughts?

The smitty doesnt have a tire mount? The one I am getting does. The stock gate cannot handle the weight. Im not even sure your 35 will fit on the gate with the smitty?

If it was me, Id ship it back and get the bumper tire mount.

Just as a little clarification and after reading the thread on having issues with 35's on the stock tire carrier:

The SRC bumper has a cutout, so the clearance wouldn't be an issue. I really like the SRC bumper is there anything out there that will bolt to an existing bumper as a sturdier tire carrier?

Haven't been on trails yet where I'm hundreds of miles away from gas - although sounds like it would be fun.
