Is this crazy???? 35''s and 3.73 in a 4 door
I have my 2.5'' lift on and I have my Mickey Thompson 15'' Locks and Spidertrax adapters ready to go. I am placing a tire order this week and plan to go with 33x12.5 M/T's. Now, here is the dilemma. Do I get the 33''s or pop for 35''s instead and suck it up for 6-8 mos. until I can re-gear? I have 3.73's in an 08 Sahara 4 door automatic. Is this a set up that I will want to kill myself driving daily or is it tolerable as a DD? Anyone with experience with this feel free to weigh in, I need advice......

FYI- when I was getting ready to buy tires, I was in the same dilemma as you. Someone pointed out to me that if I was even considering 35's right now, that meant I did in fact want 35's. So if I bought 33's, I would still be wondering about 35's and would just end up buying 35's later down the road. So might as well just go all the way to begin with.
It is SO TRUE!
if you go with 35" tires you will probably need new bumper, modify your rear brake light and possibly a spacer too.
my mickey thompson "35" inch MTZ tires actually measure out at 33.6". these fit perfectly without any modifications.
i road for 2 months with 3.73 rear drive and since then have gone with 4.88's on my 4 door auto. lot of diference in low end performance. more pep and power on trails.
lot of folks swear by 5.13's, which is fine if off-roading is 90 percent of your use, or you plan on going with 37+ inch tires.
think a 4.56 gear is supposed to get you back to 'stock performance" with 35" tires.
