OEM 1310 driveshaft install
I have read alot over the installation of the 1310 driveshafts that require the replacement of the factory flanges. I have used the search function and cannot find anything over the OEM replacements that reel offers. If someone could point me in the right direction with a link of some sort would be great.
Is the installation the same minus the aftermarket flanges?
Also, are the OEM's exacally the same as stock? i.e will they go out quickly on a lifted vehicle (over 3.5 inches)?

Below is the link to Northridge4x4...They offer the 3 different styles of DS from Reel. As far as the 1310 replacement, it is just a simple bolt on that utilizes the factory/stock flange-yoke. When you go up to the next level such as the 1310 HD & 1350 that's when you have to replace the flange-yoke because they use a u-bolt style...I am not sure how durable the 1310 OEM replacement is as far as using it with your 3" lift, but I am sure others with more experience in it will chime in...

"J.E. Reel offers three different drivelines for sale, the first of which is a 1310 Series unit that bolts right up to the existing O.E. flanges. The second is a 1310 Series unit that utilizes a pinion and transfer case yoke that is more conventional with U-Bolts. And, last but not least is 1350 Series unit that utilizes flanges and yokes with U-Bolts for those demanding superior strength in their drivelines.
NOTE: When using a drive shaft with a double cardin joint, it is important that you remember to adjust your pinion angle accordingly through the use of adjustable rear upper control arms in order to prevent diveline vibrations. This is especially important on 2-door model Jeep JK Wranglers that are lifted 3″ or more as the lenght of the rear drive shaft is exceptionally short."

Can anyone else chime in on their experience with the JE reel OE replacement versions. I have ordered them already so a little late in asking for others input. I was told that they will work perfectly for a 3-4 inch lift and will allow for the use of the stock flanges. This way I will have spares should there be issues.
