Lift
I posted not to long ago about a BDS lift. I am wanting to lift my Jeep but me and my wife just got married and things are a little rough. I have 32's and woudl like to run 35's. My wife has made it clear she thinks the ride right now is rough so I would like something to lift but rides as it does now or better...Any help? Also have to keep money in mind on this..lol
I run the BDS 3" lift, and it rides great...better than stock. The key thing to remember is this...the biggest part of a lift that helps the quality of the ride is the shocks. Crappy shocks will give you a crappy, or stiff ride. So, maybe spend a little less on the lift, like a Budget Boost for now, and pay a little more for the better shocks. You can always upgrade your lift down the road, but if you and your wife want a better, more comfortable ride, put the better shocks on.
I may get flamed for this one... but if ride is a concern, try a 2" BDS body life. Worse case is you won't clear the 35's and you run 33's... or throw on a set of Xenon (other other brand) high clearance flares and call it good.
But the suggestion on the Rough Country BB is also a good one. Although, I have heard people still rub with this lift and 35's. Remember it is only a 2" in the rear. Good luck.
