Question Left my gas cap off...

And no warning light came on.

This is only a concern because i have done this once before and i got the "gascap" message on the dash. This is also the first time i have done this since doing the Woods Evap Can Relocation Kit....

So, is/could this be related to the relocation? a loose connection, a clogged hose?

anyone? Bueller...Bueller???

I wouldn't worry about it. I've left mine off and got the light and then left it off and got no light. Go figure. Many miles with no problems on that end.

Leaving the gas cap off doesn't always get an OBDII vapor code. It is pretty hit or miss on that one... I wouldn't sweat it.

gas cap warnings are the most unreliable of them all.

I used to leave my gas cap off all the time and no light, then one day after I got caught in a suprise rain storm it along with the check engine light came on, I honestly didn't even know i had a gas cap light. I took it to the dealership they said that the sensor just got alittle wet and it would go away, two weeks later it did

No gas in NC - it can light up all it wants.
