Default entire JK vibrations

2 questions ...

1Jeep is still vibrating. Wheels weren't off balance. We put my stock 31's back on. Not the issue. The vibrations are actually worse, sounding like my entire frame is gonna bounce off my chassis.

It starts to get bad around 20 mph to 45 mph. The quicker I am going the weaker it gets, cause it gets going really quick. Sounds like a helicopter is hovering inside (with top on)/outside with the top off.

Any ideas??? Driveshafts/Tranny????

2Also popping sounds coming from steering suspension. Either Trac Bar bushing or something else thats in need of fixing. Only happens when I am turning my steering wheel.

EDIT: OPPS -> For those that don't know my setup .. basically 4.5" RE LAK on 35's (SIDE NOTE- RE doesn't sell tie rods seperately or anything for them. Anyone know where I can get replacement knuckless/ball joints)

20-45 MPH and then it gets less the faster you go? sounds like drive shaft to me.

was it always vibrating or just recently? if always, could be it's not balanced right or that the pinion is not set correctly in the rear or that you have too much caster up front. if it's just recently, you could have knocked off a weight.

a weight off the wheels or what??? Sorry, slow learner ...

PIAJ .. we somewhat regeared. New axles (D44 w/4.10s and e lockers --> coming from D35 and D44 with 3.73s and open) put on in May, had no problems until just the last few weeks. Showed up a few days after a wheeling trip, but not immediately after.

no need to apologize. i was refering to a driveshaft weight. they need to be balanced just like wheels do. if you knocked one off on the trail (i have done this many times), you shaft could be out of balance.

You should be able to look at the driveshaft and see if the wieght was knocked off.

if you knocked off a weight, you should be able to see a blank spot where it was welded on.
