Problem with Larger tires on stock wheels
I installed 285/70R17 tires on my stock wheels with a 3" lift. It seemed OK, no noticeable rubbing until my ABS light came on. It turns out that when my wheels were fully turned the tire rubbed against the ABS wire and broke it. Get under your Jeep and confirm that your wheels don't contact your ABS line or brake line with full lock.
I actually bought some wire conduit covers and put it over the brake and ABS line. Now if it does rub it has to chew through a lot of plastic before getting to the wire.
Jeep tried to make me cough up for this repair but my Jeep Dealer is the one who sold me the tires and installed them. They agreed that they should have checked this first before giving me the vehicle so they took care of it.

Of course you realize that you now have to CHECK how much got chewed through to avoid a repeat failure.
You should at LEAST adjust the turnstop bolts out a bit to avoid full lock hits on your conduit, which of course sticks out more than what's inside it.
A set of wheel spacers, or new rims with less Backspacing, would help.
Did your 3" lift include adjustable, or at least longer track bars?
If it only hits on one side, or is worse on one side, it may be exacerbated by the way the axle is pulled to the side of the jeep that the track bar attaches to the frame, as the lift pulls the axle over towards that frame point.
Good Luck Mate!

I looked at your profile and see that you have the OME 4" lift, which means that you should have all the components that you need for your lift to be "proper". I can also see by the pics of your Jeep in your profile that you do not have wheel spacers. I ran 35x12.50 tires on my stock rims for about 6 months before getting new rims, and you NEED wheel spacers with that set up...especially when off roading and flexing, which you have done, according to your pics.
Sorry to hear about your problem, but you need spacers or you will have more issues again.

Well, don't you think that since he bought them from the Jeep dealer, and they installed them, that they should have been trusted as the experts to provide the proper advice and installation? I do, anyway.
Experts? HA!!!! Experts at ripping people off. Don't get me wrong, I love my JK and don't feel like I got ripped off too bad cause I would have paid more for it if I had to, but I hate car salesmen. Almost as bad as politicians. lol And those guys in the back working on the Jeep, yup they are salesmen too.
