TPMS sensors + Staun "Beadlocks" ??
Does anyone know if the TPMS sensors can be fitted to wheel that are equipped with Staun "Beadlocks"?
I think that the stock DC TPMS sensors are the valve stem type (but I don't actually know). Would this interfere with Stauns or be interfered with by the Stauns?
I suppose that you could always build a pressurised container to stash all 5 TPMS sensors in. Would PVC pipe with a good marine epoxy in the threads and sealing a valve stem hold 37 PSI?
Ah...there's the answer to my "pipe" question...

I'm pretty good about checking tire pressure, so I think I can live with that solution. It'd be nice to reprogram the TPMS to a good pressure for DD duties though.

This "solution" won't work with the JK. The stock sensors are activated by tire rotation, so unless you can figuire a way to rotate that there cannister at the speed of your tires it will not read.
Just call your dealer or a few tire stores and find one that has one of these, http://www.artsautomotive.com/TPMS.htm and get your sensors set lower. The stock sensors can be set as low as 28psi, if you want lower buy some aftermarket ones designed for lower psi.

With respect to the STAUNS, the TPMS cannot be fitted. Staun supplies a special valve stem to be used in place of the stock valves. You will be drilling a second valve hole in your wheel rims for the secondary valve which is connected to directly to the Staun inner tube.

The possibly correct part is that Staun recently changed to a different style of valve channel that makes installation easier. This version would prevent installation of the TPMS as you typically would. However, if you found a way to mount the sensor inside the tire cavity not occupied by the Staun IBL, then at least in theory, the TPMS should work. If a "pocket" were sewn onto the outside of the IBL casing, or if the new casing already incorporates this, then you could just place the TPMS in that pocket and you'd be all set.
