Warrior Products corners
I work for a big airplane manufacturing company here in Washington State. We use a lot of rivets in aluminum parts. The minimum distance from the center of the rivets to the edge of the part (corner in this case) should be 2x the diameter of the rivet so if you use 3/16 rivets, the distance should be 3/8 minimum. I kept mine at 1/2 inch. Now, as far as spacing, good design dictates that the spacing between rivets should be about 6x the diameter or 1-1/8 inches. That is a lot of rivets and far more that Warrior included in the kit. I installed rivets at the corners and then divided the spaces up equally, trying to maintain 2-1/2 inches between rivets. Oh, I also used corrosion inhibiting compound on every rivet when it was installed. The best stuff can be found in your local home improvement store, in the aisle where the circuit breakers and panels are displayed. It is used when installing aluminum service wires in the panel.
Maybe this is too much information but I am only trying to help

to plan a trip.
