Default Aftermarket bumper weight

Does anybody know what most of the available JK aftermarket bumpoers weigh? I'm looking for info for the front and/or rear w/ tire carrier.

Also, if you have aftermarket bumpers, did you gain or lose clearance or increase/decrease you approach/departure angles. I susupect all the front bumpers offer better approach angles than the factory one, but on some of the rears, looks like you may lose some departure angle. Might just be an illusion though.

Well, I can probably answer one of your questions...

I called LoD regarding their front bumper. They said it weighs 65-70 lbs.

Thanks guys.

Anybody got a weight for a rear w/ tire carrier? I know I could call, but I don't want to bother them if I have no intention of buying.

Those same concerns are what helped me decide to mod the factory bumpers and spare tire rack instead of buying kits etc.
I have jerry can mount points added to the spare tire rack which allows me to keep my spare where it is which is lower than the after market guys do so I also still have a working rear view mirror.
I added D-shakle points at all four corners so I would have hi-lift jack points and more secure tow points.
I also added a 2" receiver to the front bumper so I can run a "portable" winch from either end as required.
It was useful to be able to winch out a friends blazer when he was in a rock hole and i was on sandy wash out front.
Keep in mind that if u use a D-link or rated pully u dont need a giant winch to get out.
If (when) u start looking for such check out harbor frieghts new one for less than $400.
I wish I'd waited! instead I got one thru Desert Rat for $420 (list was $490)
Its too heavy to be a portable but what the hell eh?

Thats deceiving (perhaps without nuts bolts and brackets)... Add the Brackets, optional winch mount & optional skid plate and your well over 100 lbs. Add a winch and you can add another 100.
