Default Finally figured it out! 33's no lift w/cooper STT's

This combo works very well. I had BFG 285/65/18 on the stock rims and they rubbed. It also rode like a tank. I did a lot of research and decided on cooper STT 285/70/17 with incubus poltergeist rims. Looking at all the forums I could find on tires it came down to the toyo mt's or the STT's. Both seem to have very good reviews but the coopers are cheaper and they seem to run a bit narrower which prevented any rubbing issues. I can't believe how good they actually ride. Just as good as the stock Desert Dullers. Only a slight hum at highway speeds...plus they look great! I haven't taken it off road yet so I can't say for sure the tires won't rub the wheel-well, ill give ya an update soon.

That looks really good. Love those rims. The deep dish look of those rims sets those off. Any close ups of the rim and tire?

What is the backspacing on those wheels? Looking to do the same tires but on stock 17"s.

The text format sucks but the offset for 17x8 is +00.

BFG T/A KO: 285/65 18 = 32.58 x 11.22
Cooper STT: 285/70 17 = 32.70 x 11.22

Did your BFGs rub on-road?

Looks very nice. Do you know the weight on the Cooper STT's in your size? I know the BFG AT 285/70/17 I ran on my F-150 was a heavy sob. Cooper's website does not have the weight rating. Also what is the load rating?
