Default 4.10 Gear & 32" Tires with Automatic Trans

I am thinking about regearing to 4.10 from 3.73. Just wondering what RPM ypu are turning at 60MPH with 4.10 gear, 32"tires, and automatic transmission. Checking to see if I need to go further if I do it. Thanks, Randy

That would be just like a stock Rubicon.

I'd go to 4.88 if I were you.

I'm yet to re-gear because it's so $$$$.... with that said I would at least re-gear to 4.56 or 4.88 to make it worth it. Also it leaves more options in the future for 35s. Although if you never plan to go bigger then 32 the 4.10s should be a perfect match. Then again... the 4.56 would be a perfect match, I just don't think going from 3.72 to 4.10 is worth it for the price, and you'll probably like the extra power with 4.56s.

Good Luck either way

like they said, it not worth the money to regear unless you go at least 4.56. the 4.10 wont make that much of a difference. i would probably go with 4.88's even if you plan to stay with 32's for a while.

Thanks guys. Mine is turning around 1600-1650 so it looks like about 300-350 difference. That would seem to help some in power without taking a hit in gas mileage...

Default Axle assembly

Re- gearing is costly- I had 3.73 and went with mopar performance axle assembly 4.10 w/ lockers- of course I'll probably want 4.88 later. If you just want 4.10- I think the axle assembly swap is cheaper. My speedo is off, but w/ the 32" tires (The 33"s are about the same) at 55mph on dash turning 1750rpm- speed by GPS 55= 59ish

I'm experiencing the same, around 1900 RPM.
