Default Tension for new winch line?

I just installed a superwinch lp8500, and swapped out the steel cable for synthetic. The instructions said to re-spool the winch line with tension. Whats the best way to do this? Should I just find a tree, hook up, and pull myself?

Thanks for any help.

Default winch tension

Yeah that's a good way to do it, use two people one to steer and one to guide rope onto spool for even layers

Thanks for the help.

Should I try and winch up an incline?

Default winch tension

You don't have to , the weight of the jeep is enough on a level area.
