Default what size Gear Are recamended for 35" tires

i have a 08 4 door X with the dana 44 in the rear and the 30 in the fron and want to lift it for a set of 35" tires but i need to know what gear should i use to still have a driver and a fun time on the trails ?

I agree, I am putting in 5:13's this week and I have 35's and a auto.

Correct. I've got the auto with 35's and 5.13's work great. 4.88's are fine with the stick, unless you plan on going to 37's in which case you should go with the 5.13's.

Well that would cure the power issue for sure! Especially if he has a 6 speed.

That calculates out to 3300 at 75 mph with a 6 speed. It would be great for towing a trailer though.

Only in the sense that a 2 dr is lighter than a 4dr. And that is referring to the bare vehicle. You can also load a lot more gear in a 4 dr so ultimately the 4 dr can get a lot heavier than the 2 dr. It also makes a difference as to whether you're at sea level or in the mountains of the West.
