Default Lift kits that level front end with rear

Trying to decide on method and brand of lift and want the front level with the rear. Rough Country advertises this with their spacer/shock lifts but I was told by them that front and rear spacers are of the same height. If this is the case, how are they leveling the front with the rear? Am I missing something?

I know for a fact that their 2.5" spacer kit is 2.5" front/2" rear....a friend of mine bought that kit and we measured....

The kit on mine is the Rough Country 1.75" spacer kit, and it's actually 1.75" front AND rear so no leveling with this one....this is the kit I bought first, then bought some 3/4" spacers to add to the front to level it out.

Default Question JK-KJ

Are you running the Rough Country shocks and if so which one? How do you like the ride? I have a Rubi and the shocks are alittle firm for my taste.
You stated you added and additional 3/4" spacer up front. Did you use another Rough Country spacer or would any brand work?

On my friend's 2-door Rubicon with the 2.5" RC lift, he has the Rough Country "performance 2.2" shocks...it rides really good, maybe a little softer than before. The shocks we took off of his Rubicon went on my X, and I used some shock extensions to make everything work right...mine might be a tad bit stiffer than his but not a huge difference.

And the 3/4" spacers I got were from Rough Country....I wasn't sure if any brand would work so I just went back to Rough Country and bought theirs.

if you're not really looking to do a lift per se, you can just add a set of 1" coil spacers and be done with it.
