RR are the best looking, and best quality imo, but agreed 1g is way to much for those, if they were cheaper I'd have then already.

I don't like any of the tube fenders. What's up with everybody making them narrower than the production fenders? Hell, if anything, they need to be wider with all of the different backspaced wheels and wider tires being installed. I don't get it.

the point of them being narrower is for clearance reasons. they would be pointless if they were 8" wide.

So, the stock ones are pointless? Really? Come on now, not everybody wants or needs 3" wide fenders. If I'm runnin 33's and a bb lift, (which I will be) stock width fenders will work just fine. I might like the flat fender look too, just not 3" wide.

i'm pretty sure u can get the ore's in a full width as well as their narrower "outlaw" fenders for those who want to go that way

X2 on that. First I'll probably end up on a couple of cross country trip and all I need is a stupid ticket from a statie having a bad day. Next, fenders are there for a reason. They're supposed to keep sh!+ from flying up into the jeep. Mud's one thing, but gravel and shale hurt. Then, it'd be great to have some more mounting points for gear a la Rat Patrol and for that wider would definitely better.

This kind of summed up the problem I have with the existing options for tube fenders.
They won't cover the tire completely, and NY can be a b***h when it comes to passing inspection.

Also, I'd prefer if the "drooped" slightly, like the stock ones do. If you look at the stockers from the front, you'd see the droop.

I know you'd lose a little clearance, but the ones that stick straight out look like wings...and this brick ain't gonna fly!
