Adding a throttle body spacer with a snorkel, is it bennificial?

has anyone really ever got that much gain from a spacer anyway? In my mind it is right there with "the tornado"

Easy with the flaming, I never bought one for the YJ, but with all this bitching I hear about lack of power I was trying to do what ever I could on a budget. But I will admit, I should have known better.
