Default wheel spacers

First of all I'd like to say I'm new to the Jeep world and I have 33'' by 12.5 Nitto Mud Grapplers and a lift on the way. (In a couple months when my bank account recharges itself I want to get 35''s or possibly 37'')I want to buy some wheel spacers due to rubbing issues. So pretty much I want some help on deciding what is the right wheel spacer for me and what sizes to choose. I have seen that people talk about 4.5 to 5 inches in the back or something like that, I have no clue what that means on sizing so you guys might hve to elaborate due to my stupidiness. Also I did try to use the search function but failed to find anything that applied to my situation.

Is it safe to assume you are keeping your factory wheels? If so, they come with 6.25" of back spacing and you will need to reduce that by about an inch or so in order to clear 12.50" wide tires. The Spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers will take your back spacing down to 4.75" and do the trick just fine

I just wanted to comment that I am experiencing the same issue on my recently lifted (2" coil spacers) JK 4-door... when the steering wheel is near full turn I rub the inside of the tire against the front sway bar. This happened after I added new BFG A/T 305/65 R18's to my stock rims. I just ordered some 1.5" Spidertrax and will report back on the results.

Thanks for the info!
