Default 3" Full Traction Before and After

Good Morning:

We wanted to share some before and after shots of a base X getting a 3" lift and 35" mud terrains. We'll post some 'after' shots this afternoon, but here's the before and some of the process.

You know I really did figure we'd have these pictures posted earlier. Stuff happens - what can I say The project went great but the images I counted on didn't turn out so well. Anyhow, here's the finished product. All I can say is JK + Half Doors + Lift / Toyos = Cool

That looks great. I plan to use the FT 3" ultimate and add some 35s. I hope to have the same look. I noticed that the FT lift you installed did not have the control arms or adjustable trackbars installed. Did you use the economy kit? How far off is the axle off-center and how steep is the castor angle? Is the steering flighty without adjusting the front arms?

I'm just trying to figure out whether it's worth getting the ultimate or save the $1000 and get the economy kit.

Thanks.

Thanks for the looks and all the great comments.

The track isn't that bad with the 3" kit. 3" on the JK's the point where a lot of things become 'recommended' like trackbars, adjustable lower control arms, etc but they still drive well without, and of course you can always add them later on.

Thanks!

I want to put the 3" FT economy lift this summer. I've read alot about people recommending the adjustable track bar. Did you check for axel shift after you got the lift installed?
What's the verdict is your axle still centered without the track bar?

Track bars make the alignment a whole lot better to align. The axles do shift and the adjustable track bars help to fix that.

It is absolutely amazing how a few items change the whole look and feel of the JK. Man I love that.
