Default Warn PowerPlant and aftermarket bumpers

The new Warn PowerPlant winch/air compressor combo is a great idea. The problem, it seems, is that it won't fit on several aftermarket bumpers. The bumper I prefer, the Fab Fours front winch bumper won't fit it, neither will the AEV.

Is the issue the width/depth of the winch? I'm suprised it isn't industry standard size.

Anyone have the PowerPlant? If so, which bumper do you use?

there is an industry standard on winches, the powrplant is not the standard, it is two in one, so that is why the bumper manufacturers are not making provisions for it

i know someone on here made the powerplant fit on the LOD front bumper

and the PureJeep bumper fits the powerplant already

I dont have a powerplant yet, but it will fit the shrockworks and pure jeep bumpers. I think the powerplant is a excellent idea and plan to get one with a shrockworks bumper.

Check out the front bumper from Nates 4x4. I just ordered mine today. Price is on sale for 350.00 for the bumper primered not painted. Total price with shipping and all the additional options was only $487.00. Got a quote to powercoat it for $100.00. I've looked at all the bumpers out and they are all over priced. Just a suggestion. I forgot to ask if the dual plant would fit but it seems as though it will fit without a problem.

LOOKS LIKE THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE POWERPLANT

So does anyone know how the PowerPlant differs in size from standard winch size? Is it wider? Deeper? Both? Height shouldn't matter in most cases.

I understand why it would need to be taller than most winches to contain the compressor but that shouldn't matter for bumper fit. I can't understand why they couldn't have made the base standard size...?

Both!! It was a major PITA getting it to fit. It does fit in our bumper though.
