Default Body Lift Question...

I've taken my JK by two different places in town, and both have tried charging me around $900-$1000 to install my M.O.R.E 1" Body Lift. I don't have the tools to do it myself right now and def. don't have an extra grand to drop on an installation. Are these prices normal? Any suggestions?

Its a 2 hour job and very easy. You only need 2 sockets and a jack. You could buy the tools for less then $100. Do you have any friends that would loan you the tools or could come help you? DONT spend $1000!!!

Ask for a price breakdown at that shop. Find out what other crap they're trying to throw at you, and then find out why they're asking for 9 hours of labor when the manual says 1-2 hours max...

Default more lift

Go to sears and buy yourself a basic mechanics tool set and a floor jack ,probably about $200-250 for both and do it with a friend or two. It is not a hard install. good luck
