Largest tires on 18's ??
First time jeep owner.
I just bought a 2dr Sahara with the factory 18's. Does anyone know
the largest tires I can put on there with out modifying anything? Sorry if this thread has already been posted. I have been looking all over the internet for days now. Thank you.

You can install 33X12.50R18 without a wheel spacer , but you will rub at full lock,
assuming your using stock wheels . I'm running 1 inch Terraflex wheel spacer
with no rub .Many people are also using 1.5 spacer with no issue.
When off roading u will be very limited without a lift.

When I pick up my 4-dr Sahara this coming week (
at last!), I'll be driving directly to the tire shop to swap out the stock tires for a new set of 5 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos in 265/70 18... should be no rubbing whatsoever... and the speedo won't need recalibrating (it will be slow by 1.7%, meaning that when the speedo shows 60 mph I will actually be travelling 61mph).
First, from my research the REVO is a highly rated all terrain that satisfies on road and off (mild off road, no mud, no rock crawling). Next, it's beefier and more aggressive than stock, making it (IMO) an upgrade for the stock rims without requiring any mods whatsoever. By purchasing this tire now instead of waiting until my stock tires wear out, I gain multiple benefits: 1. about $500 of trade-in value on my pulloffs toward the new set of 5 REVOs; 2. 50,000 mile warranty; 3. 5-year road hazzard; 4. lifetime balance/rotation.
Really, my goal was just to put on better, bigger and more aggressive tires that wouldn't require mods and would improve both on road and off road handling.

That's right... and in my case, from a 255/70 18 to a 265/70 18, I'm not even gaining an inch in height or width. But my purchase isn't motivated by a desire to go "big"... If that's what I was looking for I'd lift and buy new wheels and much larger tires. But that's not my goal. Here's my logic...

LET US KNOW!
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. I'm dealing with a chain called KalTire.
As regards warranty, check out the Bridgestone website... I'm assuming that the same warranty is offered in the States.
And as for size vs. stock: (stock) 255/70 18 = 32.05 x 10.03; 265/70 18 = 32.60 x 10.43. So, 0.55" taller and 0.4" wider than stock.
