Default Tire / Wheel Question. (Newbie)

Just purchased my first Jeep (09 Sahara) and I am looking to start with some modding and my first upgrades are going to be a lift, new tires and new wheels.

I am fairly new to all of this and have been looking around the forums and seem to have found the majority of the information I am looking for but my one concern I do have is matching my wheels to the tires I am purchasing. I plan on buying them online and the last thing I want to do is buy a tire that doesn’t fit the wheels I am buying.
So what measurements should I be paying close attention to when purchasing both.
I am currently looking into a set of the Toyo 35 MT’s and DC-1 and a set of the DC-1 18”

Also is it worth while to have them mounted before they are shipped to myself?

If I were you I would consider looking at 16 or 17" aftermarket rims over an 18" way more choices for tires and the tires/rims will be cheaper!

Rim 5x5 bolt pattern and BS I would consider 4.75 to 4.5" with a 12.5" tire.
Lift if you are considering 35's minimum 2.5"

What gearing do you have on your Sahara 3:21 or 3:73/ Auto/6spd??

If you have 3:21's I would highly recommend you re-gear if you are considering 35's. As I have 33'x12.5s and I just find the 3:73 6 speed adequate for wheeling and highway...and I could not imagine 35's on my rig
